Micaela Alcaino, British Book Awards Designer of the Year | Illustrated talk

This evening, designer and illustrator Micaela will take us on step-by-step journey of how she designs her beautiful book covers.

Micaela  is the current winner of the Designer of the Year category of the British Book Awards (the Nibbies) and was selected as one of The Booksellers Rising Stars of 2021. She has a passion for book covers and has also branched out into album covers and animation.

She has lived in London since 2013. Her love for travel, mixed cultural heritage and appreciation of the fine arts has helped mould her creative perspective and love for what she does.
