Anna Faherty CABINET

Wednesday, 3 February 2016; at The Punch Tavern, Fleet Street.

At a time when publishers increasingly refer to themselves as ‘curators’, Anna Faherty questions the meaning and use of the term and explores the dangers of adopting a curatorial approach. Drawing on her unique mix of publishing and museum practice, Anna will filter out the hype and sort value-adding, curation activities from more perilous strategies. Expect challenging views, practical insights about book discovery and a cabinet full of curatorial tips.

Anna Faherty is an award-winning researcher, writer and teacher who has worked in publishing for almost a quarter of a century.
